As the season really changes into the holiday spirit everything goes from pumpkin spice to peppermint ! This winter has had some very warm days - and today being one of them has inspired my usual peppermint mocha to go cold.
HERE IS MY ICED PEPPERMINT MOCHA ☕️
Super simple! First take my homemade hot chocolate (which is milk and semi sweet chocolate melted down with heavy cream and cocoa powder - definitely a rich indulgence) add the same amount or more if you really like the coffee taste of dark roast coffee! Then a candy cane simple syrup (made from melted candy cane and water) and blend together with 5-6 ice cubes. This one is topped with coconut whipped cream, crushed candy cane and toffee bits.
